We offer support for families seeking assistance with curriculum planning and teaching math and literacy. Additionally, our core learning program provides opportunities for peer interaction, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for your child. With small class sizes grouped by age and ability level, our core learning time empowers your child's academic journey in a supportive environment.

For families who would like support with teaching core subjects: math and literacy.

Students will learn from a certified teacher alongside other students in their age group. Students will work on their instructional level on literacy and math material.

Core Learning Includes:

• Instructional Level Literacy and Math Instruction 3 days a week

• Small class sizes support and embrace all learning types (max: 6 students per age group)

• Small class sizes provide individualized instruction, modifications, and enrichment

• Semester-long curriculum outlines provide insight and clarity into what your child is learning each week

• Optional work for off days, which supports the week’s learning objectives

Located at Kairos in Midland, NC, only 15 minutes from Smart Diehl Academy, our program offers a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive in nature while inspiring a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

WildRoots, students will:

• Explore the wonders of the outdoors through hands-on activities and guided adventures.

• Engage in gardening activities in our beautiful greenhouse, where they'll learn about plant life cycles, sustainability, and the joys of nurturing living things.

• Experience the magic of interacting with live animals, fostering empathy, respect, and appreciation for the natural world.

• Learn about environmental conservation, and sustainable living practices, all while fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity.

• Develop teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills through outdoor challenges and group activities.

• Cultivate a sense of wonder, resilience, and self-confidence as they navigate and explore the wilderness.

Program Overview:

At our Early Childhood Education Program, we offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to support the development of essential academic, social, emotional, and cognitive skills, preparing children for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Key Components:

Small Group Instruction: Our small class sizes ensure personalized attention and support for each child's learning journey.

Hands-On Learning: We believe in active, experiential learning to deepen understanding and engagement.

Social and Emotional Development: We foster positive relationships, cooperation, empathy, and self-regulation skills through structured activities and social interactions.

Curriculum: Our curriculum is tailored to the unique needs and developmental stages of each age group:

• Toddler Program (Ages 2 to 3 years):Socialization activities
  Language development through songs, stories, and play
  Fine and gross motor skill development
  Sensory exploration

• Pre-K Program (Ages 4 to 5 years):All of the above plus:
  Early Literacy Development: phonics, phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, emergent writing
  Mathematics: number sense, counting, basic addition and subtraction
  Science exploration: hands-on experiments, observation, introduction to scientific concepts
  Social studies: community awareness, basic geography, understanding roles and responsibilities

Morning Meeting- Daily 9:00-10:00AM

Our morning meetings are beneficial for students of all ages. We will cover social emotional topics such as building self confidence and community, creating a sense of empowerment, expressing and understanding feelings, fostering creativity and being kind to others!

Extended Afternoon -3:30-6:00PM

Students can choose to participate in offered afternoon classes or use this time to do extra school work provided by parents.
