Welcome to Smart Diehl Academy's Drawing Class for artists ages 9 to 14! Our drawing class is a dynamic and engaging program designed to ignite creativity, develop artistic skills, and foster a passion for visual expression in young artists. Over the course of 17 weeks, students will embark on an exciting journey of exploration and discovery as they learn fundamental drawing techniques, experiment with various mediums, and unleash their imagination on paper. In our Drawing Class, students will: -Explore Fundamental Techniques: From line, shape, and form to shading, texture, and perspective, students will learn essential drawing techniques to build a strong foundation in artistry. -Study Diverse Subjects: Through still life, portrait, landscape, figure, and cartooning, students will explore a diverse range of subjects and styles, honing their skills and expanding their creative horizons. -Experiment with Mediums: From pencils and charcoal to ink and mixed media, students will experiment with a variety of drawing materials, discovering their unique properties and exploring different artistic possibilities. -Cultivate Creativity: Through imaginative drawing prompts and creative exercises, students will unleash their creativity, develop their artistic voice, and express themselves through their artwork. -Receive Personalized Instruction: Our experienced instructors provide personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and individualized support to help students develop their skills and reach their artistic goals. -Prepare for Showcase: At the end of the semester, students will have the opportunity to showcase their artwork in a final portfolio showcase, celebrating their artistic achievements and sharing their creativity with family, friends, and peers.
